Hideaki Itsuno, one of the game directors working on DmC: Devil May Cry, believes that it will be easy for all kinds of players to enjoy the new Dante-powered game, regardless of their proficiency with the combat system of the series.

He tells The Official Xbox Magazine that, “with this new DmC, you can take the techniques built up during the old series, and the bar to entry for new users is very low. Both old and new fans will be able to enjoy the game, and I’m very proud of them.”

According to Itsuno, a limited number of new players approached the series after the launch of Devil May Cry 4 because the experience was too complex and the development team offered no ways to learn the combat system.

The new DmC will be launched on January 15 of this year.
