Capcom has confirmed that it plans to release a demo for DmC: Devil May Cry ahead of the game’s actual launch on January 15, 2013, onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

DmC: Devil May Cry reboots the long-running hack and slash series from Capcom and will offer a bold new experience crafted by UK-based studio Ninja Theory.

We already got to admire a wide array of videos and screenshots with the game, and even learned many interesting details about its protagonist, Dante, and how he’ll team up with his brother, Vergil, in order to eliminate the demons that influence our world.

After showing a fresh gameplay trailer during the New York Comic Con over the weekend, Capcom has confirmed, via Joystiq, that a pre-release demo for DmC will be rolled out ahead of its actual launch on January 15, 2013, for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

No other details are known, but you can expect to learn more in the following months.
