The development team at Harmonix and publisher Disney Interactive are delivering a new trailer for their upcoming Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved, which is designed to introduce the new Hollow zone and show off a little bit more gameplay.

The two companies explain that, “This mysterious forest environment comes to life as users perform songs and interact with the world to add light, color, and characters to the scene.”

In the new Hollow environment gamers will be able to create their own melody from a special kind of magical mushrooms and they will also meet fairies through the woodlands, on their way to discovering even more interesting sights.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will be launched on the Xbox One and the Kinect-powered Xbox 360 from Microsoft in the final few months of 2014.

The entire experience is based on classic Disney concepts and will allow players to express their creativity in a world that directly references the movies on which it is based.

There’s no rating for player actions and progress is connected to exploration and creative use of resources.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will include a soundtrack made up of tracks from more than 25 artists and each song will come complete with a number of remixes for gamers to discover and enjoy.
