Video game developer Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda have announced that the launch dates for their upcoming action and role-playing mix Dishonored have been set for October 9 in North America, the 11th of the month in Australia and October 12 in Europe.

The game will be available on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and the PC-powered by Windows.

Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks, stated, “We are pleased that Dishonored has captured people’s attention. We are looking forward to sharing lots more information about the game leading up to its launch in October, and having a hands-on build of Dishonored in our booth at E3!”

Dishonored puts gamers in the role of Corvo, an assassin who wields both weapons and supernatural powers and needs to prove that he is unjustly accused of a crime.

The game will offer players the freedom to choose how they approach various tactical challenges and guide a complex story to a surprising finish.
