In addition to playing the game a lot, the Demon Hunter pilot managed to avoid death for the entirety of his journey

A Diablo 3 player managed to get to Paragon level 1000. While the feat would be impressive on its own, the fact that he managed to do so on Hardcore mode is what makes it noteworthy.

After reaching level 60 in the base game or level 70 in the Reaper of Souls expansion, all subsequent experience you earn goes toward your Paragon level, which bestows some minor bonuses each level, such as 1 percent increased attack speed or a minor elemental resistance buff, in order to provide some means of progression beyond the level cap.

Hardcore mode is something that popped up in Diablo 2, a special game mode where if you die it's game over, you lose everything. Why anyone would try that is beyond me, but some people even like it, and what's more, swear by it, which is even more puzzling.

In any case, Nokieka, the player who managed to reach 1000 Paragon levels without dying, is definitely a couple of orders of magnitude above your average Joe.

In addition to having loads of free time to sink into Blizzard Entertainment's action role-playing game, as each Paragon level requires considerably more experience points than the previous, Nokieka also managed to pilot his Demon Hunter without dying even once.

Anyway, you can watch the video of him dinging to 1000 below.
