14 DAY TRIAL // Diablo 3 Patch 2.0.1. will be available for download starting today, February 25, according to a statement from producer Alex Mayberry.
Diablo 3 will receive its long awaited Reaper of Souls expansion in March but, until then, Blizzard is offering all owners of the game across the PC and Mac platforms access to a variety of fresh mechanics via game update 2.0.1.
The new patch includes a tweaked loot system that should eliminate the need for an Auction House, but also plenty of other major tweaks relating to the actual dungeon crawling gameplay mechanics.
While the patch has already been confirmed to debut ahead of Reaper of Souls, Blizzard's Alex Mayberry has revealed on Twitter that the update should go live later today, February 25, on both the PC and Mac platforms.
No exact time has been given, so expect to hear a bit more about it soon.
