Video game developer Blizzard announces that it is deploying the most recent patch for Diablo 3, labeled 2.0.2, in the North American region, aiming to fix some of the issues that were introduced with the previous major update for the game.

The biggest change is that experience requirements has been increased for Paragon level 500 and above in order to fix power-leveling issues, and Clan and Community chat now have disabled sound notifications.

The rest of the modifications, according to the official announcement, consist of:

Gold can once again be purchased and sold on the Real Money Auction House Level 60 Crafted Amulets now properly require Fiery Brimstone to craft Sokahr the Keywarden now reflects a more reasonable amount of damage with his whirlwind attack The portal leading from the second Hell Rift to the Gardens of Hope 2nd Tier now functions properly The experience bar has been removed from the Followers UI The Siegebreaker Assault Beast no longer performs other actions during his grab attack animation

Blizzard explains that the 2.0.2 patch is not yet live on either European or Asian servers and that gamers might have to wait for a few days before it is ready for deployment.

The team adds that all those who experience any issues with the patching process, the Battle.net connection, or actual gameplay should seek help on the official forums.

The Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3 is set to launch on March 25.
