The development team at Codemasters is announcing that it is now delivering the first major update for DiRT Rally since it was introduced via Early Access, which is called Pikes Peak Pack and introduces one unique new event.

The company states the new course has been "Built from the ground up in its full fat modern tarmac state (the first time in a video game) and the mixed surface variant we all grew up loving. We’ve also included a variety of weather conditions and three iconic Hillclimb cars to add to your garage."

DiRT Rally also now includes Hillclimb in the Championship mode and in the Online events.

The development team has also improved the Artificial Intelligence of some rival drivers, making them capable enough to challenge most players.

Codemasters is also working to improve the user interface of the racing game.

Engineer slots for DiRT Rally are now unlocked based on distance driven rather than in-game cash and Custom Events are set to use the fully upgraded version of a vehicle.

The developers at Codemasters have also improved the cars included in the racing title.

DiRT Rally is offered in Early Access and the studio is aiming to deliver updates for it as fast as they can be developed, introducing new events and tweaking the core mechanics
