14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Turbine has offered more information on the mounted combat mechanics that will be at the core of the coming Riders of Rohan expansion for The Lord of the Rings Online, showing players how their game experience will chance and the efforts that the team is making to keep the entire MMO balanced.
Riders of Rohan, as the name implies, focuses on the second biggest force aligned with the Ring Bearer in the Lord of the Rings universe, allowing gamers to get their own mount and then ride down enemies.
The new expansion does more than simply introduce mounted battles but also raises the level cap to 85 for all characters and gives more skills and abilities to use during both Players versus Environment and Player versus Player battles.
There are new areas to explore and dungeons to raid in order to get access to more equipment.
The Riders of Rohan expansion will be launched on September 5.
