Stuck on raid progression? Not getting loot? Don't worry, there's always another bug coming to the rescue

If there's one thing Destiny bosses are notorious for, it's the bullet sponge design paradigm that makes them a chore to take down, while lacking any actual interesting mechanics.

That also holds true for the Vault of Glass, the online multiplayer first-person shooter's fancy raid, whose final boss, Atheon, takes a very long time to kill and also spawns a bunch of pesky adds, making the encounter pretty difficult.

That is, unless your sly strategy involves sending him into the abyss, like displayed in the video below. The method requires the use of a glitch which will most likely be stomped upon by developer Bungie, so make use of it while you still can.

The video shows a fireteam sending a player along the side as soon as Atheon's room is reached, getting his attention and kiting him around until he glitches and stops attacks, and then hitting him with Supers until you knock him off the edge, saving on bullets and a truckload of time.

It seems that Destiny players are really into finding alternate ways to kill stuff and get loot, what with the whole loot cave debacle. In any case, if you're the kind of ambitious person who doesn't mind employing shady tactics in order to get ahead, you'd better hurry before the patch drops.
