14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that Destiny is full of secret areas, as one more has just gotten discovered by some intrepid Guardians, this time around set on Mars.
The new area has been discovered by the team at se7ensins, and the video below shows just how to get there, riding a Sparrow around the Black Garden, in the final story mission on Mars.
The area is said to be part of the upcoming The Dark Below expansion, expected to drop this December. Destiny has two such expansions planned so far, with the second being titled House of Wolves and scheduled for release sometime next year.
In any case, there's plenty of time until developer Bungie releases any of them for players to explore the online multiplayer science fiction first-person shooter's sprawling environments and find hidden areas and other secrets.
Players as well as critics have been disappointed by the quality of the single-player story missions, so maybe Bungie is preparing to expand the story and, most importantly, offer some actual answers to the many questions raised throughout the duration of the campaign, in the upcoming expansions.
The developer's deal with publisher Activision stipulated that the game would be supported for many years after launch, so there's most likely a lot of content still to be explored.
Destiny is currently available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One home consoles.
