Developer Visceral and publisher Electronic Arts says that the so called Item Framing Glitch in Dead Space 3 is actually a normal game mechanics and that no patch will be issues to change the way the game works.

Jino Talens, a representative of EA, tells GameFront that, “The resource-earning mechanic in Dead Space 3 is not a glitch.”

Apparently more areas in Dead Space 3 are designed to allow players easy access to the resources required for crafting.

Talens adds, “We’ve deliberately designed Dead Space 3 to allow players to harvest resources by playing through the game. For those that wish to accumulate upgrades instantly, we have enabled an optional system for them to buy the resources at a minimal cost ($1-$3).”

Presumably Electronic Arts included the areas in order to make sure that even gamers who were unwilling to pay for DLC packs had all the resources they needed to craft Dead Space 3 items.
