Dead Rising 3, last year's seemingly Xbox One exclusive zombie game, might be making its way onto the PC platform in the future, at least according to a listing found on the Steam database.

Dead Rising 3 was one of the surprise exclusives prepared by Microsoft in collaboration with franchise owner Capcom and developer Capcom Vancouver.

The action zombie game appeared at launch for the Xbox One and delivered a pretty fun action adventure experience with a huge amount of crazy items and weapons, not to mention some relatively good visuals and gameplay that were possible on the more powerful Xbox One.

Now, it seems that Capcom has other plans for the game and won't keep it an Xbox One exclusive for long, at least according to the SteamDB, which has scoured the database of large digital distribution service Steam and uncovered mentions of a Dead Rising 3 PC edition.

The listing is complete with image files for the game's icon and store banner, so it does seem relatively valid.

Take this with a grain of salt, however, as quite a lot of potential games have appeared on SteamDB but were never confirmed, like Halo 3.

Capcom isn't commenting on the listing and it's possible that an official announcement might debut next week at E3 2014.
