Sumthing Else Music Works, the label that focuses on releasing video game soundtracks, and publisher Deep Silver announce that an original soundtrack will be launched for Dead Island: Riptide on the same date that the game itself is available.

The music for the game was created by Pawel Blaszczak and is described as a mix between cinematic electronic and experimental industrial styles, designed to reflect the nature of the game world and the gameplay features.

There are 25 tracks for fans to enjoy.

Dead Island: Riptide will be launched on April 23 in North America and three days later in Europe and the experience can be played on the PC, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony.

The game introduces a new character for gamers to play as and new environments to explore.
