Dean Hall, the creator of the DayZ concept, says that he has plans to launch an alpha version of its Standalone game after a development review that will take place during June.

At the momen, 25 people are playing the game and testing its features and a few hundred might be added for the early alpha period.

Dean Hall tells Joystiq that, “The idea is to very, very quickly try to release something out there, because that allows us to start capacity testing. We’ve got one final thing we’re waiting for with the release date, which is the completion of our client-server architecture.”

The developer says that the core structure of DayZ Standalone is moving towards the MMO genre and that an early alpha launch will help his team with testing and feedback.
