14 DAY TRIAL // Blizzard Entertainment is launching Goblins vs Gnomes, Hearthstone's first big card expansion, on December 8, and it appears that the company is also preparing a launch event with some neat prizes.
For the time being, Blizzard has not made any official reveals pertaining to the Goblins vs Gnomes launch event, but some intrepid gamers have datamined information regarding it.
According to the post on Hearthpwn, playing during the Goblins vs Gnomes pre-launch event will net you a free arena entry, and playing during the opening of the Goblins vs Gnomes expansion will reward you with three random card packs, to give you a taste of the new cards.
In addition to this, one more entry was mined, stating that for playing the game on an Android tablet, players will earn one random card pack.
Blizzard mentioned earlier this year that the Hearthstone development team was working on releasing the collectible card game for Android tablets in December, and that iPhone and Android smartphone users would have to wait a while longer before being able to enjoy the game on their preferred device.
Since then, there has been no word about a prospective release date for the Android tablet version of the game.
