14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new batch of screenshots depicting Darksiders II, the upcoming hack and slash adventure title from THQ and Vigil Games, has just appeared.
Darksiders II aims at improving upon its quite impressive predecessor by offering a new protagonist, Death, while streamlining the combat mechanics and depicting a world that has a more vibrant fantasy feel.
We’ve already seen and heard quite a lot about the game in recent months, and now the two companies behind it, THQ and Vigil, have posted a new series of images from Darksiders II.
As you can see above and in the gallery below, the game is looking quite impressive, as Death, the new protagonist, visits some impressive environments and meets all sorts of individuals.
You also get to admire him in some very stylized armor sets, while riding on his trusty horse, Despair.
Darksiders II is out in June for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
