Dark Souls 3 is real and launches in early 2016, at least according to a new bit of artwork, which seemingly confirms that the next role-playing experience made by Japanese studio From Software will appear next year.

The Souls series has delighted tens of millions of fans from all over the world from the initial Demon's Souls to the more cohesive Dark Souls 1 and 2 installments.

While studio From Software has also been busy with launching Bloodborne for the PS4 and Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One earlier this year, it seems that a Dark Souls 3 is all but confirmed.

After several leaks and reports in the last few weeks, AGB now brings forth a fresh leaked artwork that seemingly confirms Dark Souls 3. Alongside the image, which shows a knight in tattered armor, an estimated launch period of early 2016 is also showcased.

As such, it's quite possible that From Software and Bandai Namco will present the new role-playing game at E3 2015 next week and schedule its debut for the first few months of 2016, probably in February or March.

Bear in mind that nothing is official just yet, but the array of reports from different sources do seem convincing.
