Video game developer From Software might be focused at the moment on Bloodborne, but the studio still has the time and the resources to try and improve the experience of those who are sticking with the older Dark Souls 2, with a new patch for the game set to be introduced on April 1 on all platforms.

Gamers will be able to get it at 10 AM Central European Time, according to the official announcement, and equivalent hours in all other territories. The list of changes that the 1.15 calibration update is making is positively huge.

The main focus is on the weapons that are included in the game, with the purpose of making sure that their various attributes are better balanced in order to ensure that none of them becomes over or underpowered.

There are also changes made to the various sets of armor that are included in Dark Souls 2, but no tweaks linked to the actual game mechanics.

As always, fans are expected to offer feedback once they actually play the title with update 1.15 implemented.
