Dark Souls 2 is set to receive its first gameplay video later today, April 10, as a major website confirmed that a 12-minute trailer would be showcased soon.

Update: The video is now live and can be admired right here.

Dark Souls 2, the full-fledged sequel to 2011's Dark Souls, was revealed to the world late last year and, since then, very few details have actually been presented by developer From Software.

Now, it seems that the first gameplay video with the upcoming RPG will be presented to the world later today, April 10, at least according to a teaser message posted IGN Community manager Casey Lynch on Twitter, who accompanied it with a fresh image of the title, available above.

The video is apparently scheduled to go live at 12pm PT, in around 10 hours or so.

In-depth previews of the challenging role-playing game are also set to appear later this week, when the developer and publisher raise the embargo for different media websites.

Until then, Dark Souls fans can only speculate on what the new RPG is going to add on top of its already successful predecessor.
