The team at DICE says that, after getting feedback from the community, it is evaluating a possible transfer feature for Battlefield 4, which will allow gamers to move profile data and saves from the current generation of consoles to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The official Twitter feed states, “We've heard reports that players would like their stats and progression to transfer from current to next-gen in #BF4. We're investigating.”

Such a feature was first announced inside Electronic Arts by the EA Sports team and will be implemented in Madden NFL 25 and in FIFA 14.

Initially, DICE stated that it had no plans for a similar feature.

The game is expected to arrive on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on October 29 in the United States and November 1 in Europe.
