Developer DICE has added a few Holiday treats for fans of its military first-person shooter Battlefield 4, celebrating Christmas while merrily sending death flying at high speeds toward their enemies.

Holiday-themed offerings from video game developers have a long and fruitful tradition, and DICE and the Battlefield series are no different.

This time around, the developer hid some Easter eggs in the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment, for players to discover. Some of them are more hidden than others, going as far as some sort of inside jokes, while others are more easily recognizable.

As always, the main source of Battlefield 4 news is FPS enthusiast Westie, talking about the developments on his YouTube channel and showing off what has been added.

The two videos below showcase the things that have been added to the CTE, among which new Holiday textures for players to enjoy, such as the ones on the Ammo Crate.

In addition to this, all character classes in Battlefield 4 have received some Christmas-themed masks to don while gunning down their opponents.

DICE also confirmed earlier this month that its shooter would be getting some new, proper content soon, and that the Community Test Environment would also become available to those playing the game on consoles, sometime in the near future.
