The team at Sony Online Entertainment working on DC Universe Online says that the PlayStation 4 launch of the MMO will allow them to create a richer experience that will be more stable and will run smoother.

DC Universe Online will be offered on November 15 in North America and two weeks later in Europe, alongside the PlayStation 4.

Larry Liberty, the producer of the game, is quoted by NeoGAF as saying that the biggest problem with the PS3 is its lack of memory, which has forced developers to be very creative when adding new powers or new areas.

He states, “Eventually, we’ll have predominantly PS4 players, as the PS3 will sunset itself. Once that does happen we can pretty much stop worrying about memory.”

The entire game is free-to-play and the team plans to continue to launch updates in the coming years.
