14 DAY TRIAL // Developer CD Projekt RED confirms that it will add multiplayer elements to its upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 project, after earlier suggesting that cooperative mechanics might be part of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The leader of the development team, Adam Badowski, tells Eurogamer that, "It will be a story-based RPG experience with amazing single-player playthroughs, but we’re going to add multiplayer features."
It's unclear whether the multiplayer will be integrated with the game's story or whether it will take place in a separate incarnation of the cyberpunk world.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that deals with complex themes, which will allow players to make choices that have long-term consequences for the game world.
CD Projekt RED has already confirmed that the title will be launched after The Witcher 3, presumably on the PC and next-gen home consoles.
