Developer Crytek is launching the 1.2 patch for its first-person shooter Crysis 3, fixing a number of crashes linked to the game and eliminating some issues that the community has reported since launch.

The patch notes read:

- Fixed after-match award dog tags from not loading from the profile correctly - Fixed root cause of some graphics driver crashes - Fixed particle shader causing black squares/broken shading on some graphics cards - Fixed shadering issue with underwater fog - Fixed issues with non-default controls for weapon customization - Fixed some issues with binding non-default vehicle controls

The official announcement from Crytek states, “We hope you’ll continue to enjoy the game, and assure you we’ll keep working hard to iron out any issues that arise down the line.”

The developers are also working on a bigger update for the game that is supposed to launch on the PC as well as the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in the coming weeks.
