Crysis 3's open multiplayer beta is set to begin today, January 29, and developer Crytek has now posted a fresh tutorial video that shows off the two modes included in the test phase – Hunter and Crash Site.
Crysis 3 is set to appear next month and the hype surrounding it has reached critical mass thanks to Crytek's constant promotional efforts that include videos, screenshots, and other such things.
Now, ahead of the start of the Crysis 3 open multiplayer beta later today, January 29, Crytek has posted another video, this time in the form of a special tutorial.
The footage, available above, shows off the two different multiplayer modes included in the beta: Hunter and Crash Site.
Hunter mode sees up to 12 CELL troopers go up against 2 permanently cloaked Nanosuit-equipped hunters and, as the soldiers are eliminated, they get turned into hunters until the tides of the battle shift in their favor.
Crash Site is more of a domination mode, as teams need to take control of random areas of the maps in exchange for powerful weapons.
Check out the new video above and get ready for the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta soon on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
