The development team at The Creative Assembly is announcing that it will organize a third Mod Summit on Friday, January 30, as the studio is eager to meet those members of the community who have tweaked titles in the Total War series and have created new content for them.

The event will take place in Horsham, United Kingdom, and it might be a good moment to reveal the modding possibilities that will be introduced in the upcoming Attila.

The official announcement adds, “We’re hoping it’ll be another great opportunity for the devs to chat with modders and share some of the detail that goes into TW code. Everyone got a huge amount out of it last year and we’re interested to hear more about their experiences using the Assembly Kits for Rome II and Shogun 2.”

Until now no information was offered on what kind of experiences the community can create based on the Attila engine.

The series has long been known for its very ambitious mods, including the heavily researched Europa Barbarorum for the original Rome, but many gamers are disappointed with the relatively closed nature of the most recent entries.

Total War: Attila will be offered on the PC on February 17 and gamers can get extra content if they pre-order.
