14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft confirmed that the small hint for a possible Crackdown 3 for the Xbox One next-gen console during its reveal event was no mistake, admitting that the franchise could see an installment that's powered by the device's cloud system.
The Crackdown franchise earned lots of fans on the Xbox 360, but it's entered a cone of shadow for quite a few years.
During Microsoft's initial Xbox One reveal event, a small power orb was featured on one of the screens, and immediately people started speculating about a Crackdown 3 for the Xbox One.
Microsoft's Phil Spencer told IGN that the hint was no mistake and that fans of the series should look forward to seeing its return in the near future.
While no confirmation was given, Spencer said that that Crackdown 3 might include "living, open worlds that live in the cloud," referring to the Xbox One's cloud system.
