14 DAY TRIAL // Valve has just confirmed that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players can now use the Steam Workshop system to customize and create brand new weapon finishes for their favorite guns, and share them with others online.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has seen a surge in popularity after the Arms Deal update added customized weapons to the game.
Now, players can do the same via the Steam Workshop, according to an announcement from Valve.
They can use the CS: GO Workbench to choose their favorite weapons and customize their individual parts using the different systems and mechanics.
They can then share these custom weapons via the Steam Workshop and Valve has pledged to officially add the most popular ones into the game, just like it did with user-created maps via Operation Bravo or Payback.
As such, fans should start browsing the CS: GO Steam Workshop and even create their own entries.
