The development team at Valve working on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive announces that it is planning to introduce silencers to the multiplayer competitive shooter in its coming update, which currently does not have a launch date.

The team posted an image of a weapon using a silencer via Twitter, alongside the message: “Here's a sneak peek at one part of CS:GO's next update. Stay tuned for more details!”

All versions of Counter-Strike have traditionally used silencers to give players a way to take out enemies without attracting attention, but the option has been missing so far from Global Offensive.

The Valve shooter is getting constant updates from the studio, mainly based on the feedback that the community is delivering.

At the moment, the company is also looking for fans to create more maps that can expand the range of gameplay options that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive offers.
