Video game developer Valve is delivering a new update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive via the Steam digital distribution service, designed to change some of the core balance elements of the shooter while also fixing a number of issues that the community has flagged.
The Desert Eagle has seen its strength reduced and there are also changes linked to the default immunity and movement, which will probably result in some changes in strategy for players.
Team-based kills and damage are also now kept for competitive matches that have disconnects and reconnects.
More changes, including new commands that players can use, are offered in the official update news.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a very competitive game and Valve needs to deliver constant updates for it in order to react to the community’s ideas and to make sure that the hardcore crowd is satisfied.
