Developer Relic and publisher SEGA are announcing that their upcoming Company of Heroes 2 will get a special retail Red Star edition at launch, designed to deliver a lot of extra content for fans of the strategy series.

Gamers who buy it will get access to five new commander abilities for the multiplayer modes of the game, with another five commanders set to be added by Relic after launch.

A pack of 24 vehicle skins allow players to customize their armies on the battlefield and an extra mission is being added to the Theater of War mode.

Fans who get the Red Star version of Company of Heroes 2 also get access to the original title and all its expansions, and everything comes packed in a new steelbook case, with an exclusive Collector’s Edition faceplate.

Company of Heroes 2 will launch on the PC on June 25.
