Lester Speight, the voice actor behind Augustus "Cole Train" Cole from the Gears of War franchise, has apparently confirmed that he's going to reprise his role in the next game in the series that's being developed by Microsoft for the Xbox One platform.

Epic Games created the Gears of War series and brought it exclusively to the Xbox 360 in quite a few stellar installments but seeing as how it didn't have any plans about a possible Xbox One installment, Microsoft bought the rights to the franchise and revealed that a new title is in development at Black Tusk Studios.

Now, after hearing just a few things and vague promises about the next Gears of War, actor Lester Speight has apparently confirmed that he's going to reprise his role in the new game.

When asked by a fan on Twitter if he's been contacted about appearing in the new game, Speight confirmed with a simple "Yup" and declined to offer any other details.

As such, while it's still unclear, it's quite possible that Cole Train, an iconic character for the Gears of War series, might make a comeback in the next installment from Microsoft and Black Tusk. Expect to hear more soon enough.
