The development team at Colossal Order and publisher Paradox Interactive announce that they are planning to launch a new expansion for Cities in Motion 2, called Marvellous Monorails, which will focus on the new options that the vehicles open up for a traffic manager.

The company explains that, “Monorails, which work best on circular layouts, are ideal for inner-city connections, and offer a more affordable alternative to metro lines, with a choice of cars from big-and-slow to speedy-but-expensive.”

Cities in Motion 2 is designed to give players plenty of city layouts and eras on which to test their skills as a planner and organizer.

The game includes a wide selection of trams, metros, boats and other transportation options and gamers need to pay attention to patterns and citizen needs in order to create a successful system.

The Marvellous Monorails expansion does not have a launch window yet.
