The development team at Torn Banner Studios and Valve announced that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is now available for free on the Steam digital distribution service until Sunday at 1 PM Pacific Time, allowing all gamers to check out the experience the game offers.

Chivalry can be described as a first person combat title focused on the medieval period, with players able to take the role of soldiers that do battle in multiplayer matches.

All the weapons are adequate for the portrayed period and up to 32 players can use the same map.

The developer states, “Inspired from the intensity and epicness of swordfighting movies such as 300, Gladiator and Braveheart, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare aims to bring that experience to the hands of a gamer.”

Chivalry can also be bought with a 50 percent price cut which also applies to the already discounted 4 pack.
