Video game publisher Capcom wants to know what players want when it comes to digital launches in order to decide how to best launch its core franchises, ranging from Resident Evil to Mega Men, in the coming years.

A survey has been published by the company and the questions asked involve favorite Capcom franchises, suggestions on remakes and re-releases, details about buying habits.

Christian Svensson, who is a vice president at Capcom, has promised that the data would be discussed during January inside the company and that it would inform on its long-term strategy.

Capcom has recently announced worse than expected financial results, mostly linked to the disappointment performance of Resident Evil 6.

The company is also delaying the Japanese launch of Monster Hunter 4 for an indefinite period to improve the game’s quality.
