Video game publisher Activision and hardware developer Sony have announced that they are partnering up in order to launch a Limited Edition PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 bundle on May 25.

The package will include 320 GB hard drive PlayStation 3 home console and a copy of Modern Warfare 3 for the price of 299 dollars (230.9 Euro), which is slightly lower than a customer might pay if he picks up both products separately.

The official announcement says,”Right out of the box, you will have instant and free access to the action-packed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 online multiplayer experience through PlayStation Network. If you haven’t already, it’s time to join in on the action.”

The Call of Duty franchise has traditionally been associated with the rival Xbox 360 console and the current Modern Warfare 3 installment delivers content first on the Microsoft platform before launching it on the PlayStation 3 and the PC.
