Major League Gaming and Microsoft are delivering a new promotional video for the upcoming Call of Duty Championship, which shows some of the most capable pro players of the shooter series getting ready for finals of the competition, which will take place during the coming weekend.

The two companies explain that "The best 32 teams will qualify from North and South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the South Pacific, representing over 17 countries, and will battle it out in the first-ever eSports world championship on Xbox One."

The overall prize pool for the Call of Duty Championship is 1 million dollars (750,000 Euro) and the matches will be streamed via Xbox Live on March 30 at 3 PM Pacific Time.

The action is also offered on the official Xbox website, and on the Major League Gaming site gamers can also see the initial rounds that take place on Friday and Saturday.

eSports is one of the fastest growing sectors of gaming at the moment, and Call of Duty has long been the best-selling series in the first-person shooter genre.

The competition is all the more exciting given the quality of the gamers that will be involved in the contest.
