Sony confirmed during its E3 2012 press conference that Activision would launch a special Call of Duty game for the PlayStation Vita portable platform, in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified.

Even before the launch of the PS Vita this February, Sony was bragging that a special Call of Duty game would appear for the portable device.

Now, during its own E3 2012 press conference, the Japanese company confirmed briefly that a special title named Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified was coming for the PS Vita.

Sadly, Sony wasn’t able to offer more details about Black Ops Declassified, but it did promise that the shooter would come out this winter holiday season.

Jack Tretton, the president of Sony Computer Entertainment America, revealed that fans would hear a lot more about the portable Call of Duty game soon enough.
