Activision and Twitch TV have confirmed that the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 shooter now has direct support for live streaming via Twitch TV, not just YouTube.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is one of the most popular games of the last few months and developer Treyarch implemented support for live streaming directly into the game.

While at first only YouTube was supported for live streaming output, Twitch TV has now confirmed that its own service can also be used by the game.

Twitch TV streaming is currently available in the Xbox 360 version of Black Ops 2 and should be included in the PS3 and PC editions of the game soon enough. Sadly, no mention was made about Black Ops 2 on the Wii U.

Those that want to live stream their multiplayer sessions need only to connect their Twitch TV accounts from within the game and start broadcasting.
