Extra content will give players more multiplayer options

The development team at Treyarch and publisher Activision announce that microtransaction-driven content for the first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be launched on the PC and PlayStation 3 on April 12, after being previously offered on the Xbox 360.

The two companies are delivering nine different Personalization Packs, each of them offering three new calling cards, three weapon reticules and one skin.

Each of them will cost 160 Microsoft Points, the equivalent of about 2 dollars (1.4 Euro).

An Extra Slots pack is designed to give players ten new slots for created classes and more space for screenshots and videos.

The Flags of the World pack delivers calling cards based on pretty much all the countries of the world.

Nuketown 2025 will also be free for all PC and PS3 players starting on April 12.
