Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has just received a brand new double XP weekend today, allowing all players of the shooter across all platforms to earn twice the amount of experience until Monday, June 1.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare delighted millions of franchise fans ever since its debut on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms in November of last year.

The game has since received all sorts of new content through its supply drops, as well as through premium expansions like the Havoc or Ascension ones.

Developer Sledgehammer Games confirmed earlier this week that the third expansion, called Supremacy, will debut next week, on June 2, worldwide for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. It also mentioned that a few changes are coming to the supply drop system on June 9.

However, until then, the studio mentions on Twitter that there's a new double XP period now in effect for Advanced Warfare across all platforms.

From now until Monday, June 1, at 9am PST, fans of the game can get twice the amount of experience in the multiplayer mode.

Expect to see similar double XP weekends in the near future, to celebrate the Supremacy DLC launch and the supply drop changes.
