Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games confirms that the recent Ascendance expansion for the game that already launched on Xbox One and Xbox 360 last month is going to debut on PC, PS3, and PS4 on April 30. What's more, a special Double XP day has already kicked off on all platforms around the world.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launched worldwide in fall of last year, and developer Sledgehammer has since released quite a lot of different add-ons for the popular first-person shooter, from new customization packs and special gear kits to full-fledged map packs like the Havoc one.

The latest major game add-on appeared late last month on Xbox One and Xbox 360, in the form of the Ascendance DLC. Now, after a few weeks of waiting, Sledgehammer Games confirm that the add-on is set to debut on PC, PS3, and PS4 platforms on April 30 worldwide.

What's more, in order to celebrate the unofficial Tax Day in the United States of America, Sledgehammer confirms on Twitter that a surprise Double XP period is available worldwide.

As such, starting a short while ago and until April 16 at 10am PST, all owners of Advanced Warfare will get twice the amount of experience when in the multiplayer mode.
