Video game developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision are announcing that there are four new pieces of gear that are now part of the Advanced Supply Drops for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the company, which also helpfully offers a look at each individual item that gamers can use to enhance their character.

The Advanced Supply Drop is designed to give the most hardcore of fans a way to get access to new content for the game using the official shop and real world money.

The development team has said that nothing that will be included in the concept will be able to change the balance of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

At the moment, Sledgehammer Games is getting ready to launch the Ascendance downloadable content for the PlayStation 4, the PC and the PS3.

There are two other DLC packs that the shooter will receive in the coming months, each of them introducing four multiplayer maps and a new episode for the Exo Zombies cooperative mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is currently in development at Treyarch and will be launched at some point in November of this year.
