Marcin Iwinski, one of the co-founders of the CD Projekt studio, says that his company has big plans for Cyberpunk 2077 and that they will use all the lessons they have learnt creating three Witcher games to make it an incredible experience.

He tells IGN that, “So yes, it is an all-out RPG game, but we're looking at having a lot of new gameplay elements that I cannot talk about yet. One thing I can say for sure is that it is definitely NOT a multiplayer shooter.”

Cyberpunk will use a near future setting and will allow gamers to explore a world that is dominated by a brutal state and by underground gangs that focus on hacking and civil disobedience.

The game was teased in 2013, but the company says that it will only offer more actual information on the experience once it’s closer to its launch window.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be out in the second quarter of this year on the PC and next-gen consoles.
