EA_CIRE, a community manager for BioWare Victory, directly criticizes the previous titles in the long-running Command & Conquer series, which the company is now working to reboot.

On the official forums, the developer says that many previous games had problems.

He states, “C&C4 (yes, I just named it) was especially far below the expectations and standards a lot of us had for C&C games. So we know how you guys feel – and I am talking a lot with our design team to discuss the game mechanics, features and meta-game of our new Command & Conquer in development.”

The new game in the series is called C&C: Generals 2, will use the Frostbite 2 game engine, and will be focused on multiplayer gameplay, with a single-player element only added after the game is out, presumably in late 2013.
