Take-Two Interactive has renewed its trademark for the Bully franchise in Europe, hinting that a re-release of the original game or of a sequel is possible.

Rockstar Games delivered a pretty interesting interactive experience back in 2006 in the form of Bully, which told the story of a young student of the Bullworth Academy called Jimmy.

Since its original release for the PS2, Rockstar brought it to the PC, Wii, and Xbox 360, and even to the PS3 in the form of a PS2 Classic experience.

Now, after renewing its trademark in the U.S., Take-Two has just renewed its copyright for the Bully Bullworth Academy Canis Canem Edit entry in Europe.

No other details were mentioned on the website of the European Trademark Office, besides its reference to video games.

Recent rumors mentioned either a re-release of the original Bully or a full-fledged sequel, possibly for the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
