Bulletstorm has a very impressive single-player campaign, with a top notch story as well as unique gameplay mechanics.

But you shouldn't forget that the game also has two special multiplayer modes, in order to keep players hooked well after the completion of Grayson Hunt's adventures around the beautiful planet of Stygia.

First up, we have the special Echo mode, which tasks players with setting the highest score possible on special sections taken from the game's campaign.

This mode is basically the concentrated Bulletstorm experience: you go through levels trying to rack up as many skillshots and combos as possible to get the highest score, without any sort of distraction or story.

These scores are put on a global leaderboard, where players can see just who is the best at killing with skill.

Strategy plays a key role in completing the Echo mode's 20 levels, as well as memorization, because you need to remember where the enemies appear, where are the environmental hazards and what other things you can use to kill them.

If you want to play with friends, then Bulletstorm's Anarchy mode is right up your alley.

Basically a take on Gears of War' Horde mode, it tasks up to four players with defeating 20 oncoming waves of enemies, with each wave ending after the team completes a certain score threshold.

Besides the regular skillshots from the single-player campaign, Anarchy introduces Team Skillshots, with players working together to unleash massive executions onto their enemies.

As you can imagine, the mode can easily hit or miss, largely because it all depends on who you end up playing with.

If everyone has voice chat enabled and know how to work together, then Anarchy's 20 waves will go by pretty much without a hitch.

If you just use the quick match option and end up with people who have no idea what they're doing, then you're going to get extremely annoyed.

Still, all these multiplayer modes work pretty much flawlessly given the nature of Bulletstorm and don't feel tacked on, unlike other games we've been seeing in the last few years.
