Famous games designer Tim Schafer hasn't ruled out a potential sequel or at least some DLC for Brutal Legend, one of his less successful projects.

Brutal Legend appeared way back in 2009 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms but, unfortunately, it failed to live up to sales expectations, prompting publisher Electronic Arts to cease funding the creation of a sequel by Double Fine.

Now, during a livestream, via GameSpot, for the studio's latest title, Broken Age, Schafer revealed that he loved the Brutal Legend world and "would love to go back there and I think [Jack Black] might be up for it, too."

Schafer also mentioned that a DLC pack for the original Brutal Legend would also work, especially since he still wants to add another faction, in the form of Lionwhyte.

Also, Schafer discussed the possibility of crowdfunding a sequel but mentioned that, since Brutal Legend cost $25 million (€18.4 million), such a thing would be quite tricky.
