The Bravely Second downloadable demo is out on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan, and a gameplay video has already made it to YouTube.

The bad thing about it is that, since Nintendo has been a darling with region locking its devices, you won't be able to access it unless you have a Japanese Nintendo 3DS handheld device.

The good thing is that Nintendomination has recorded a 30-minute video showing the game in action, so you can actually see what's going on and how the sequel is shaping up.

Bravely Default made its debut in Japan in 2012, and it was praised by pretty much everyone, going on to become a major hit once it reached North America and Europe.

Hopefully, Square Enix will bring its sequel to the West faster, as the transition took more than a year last time around.

The Japanese role-playing game takes place in the same universe as the first game, with the action set several years after the conclusion of the adventure.

Developer Silicon Studio will allow gamers to assume control of a new character, Magnolia Arch, a protagonist hailing from the world's moon, said to be the last of her kind.

Bravely Second will make its debut in Japan on April 23, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming console.
